Review of Shallow Hal (2001) by Leah L — 22 Apr 2010
A solid three star effort, with an obvious moral undertone that never quite lets you forget that we're supposed to be learning something as we watch Jack Black be.. well, Jack Black. The humor is there to be laughed at, and the serious moments are there to balance the movie out.
Not really the sort of film you need to see twice, but it's not impossible to watch again.
