Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Alex D — 04 Jan 2008
The debut film for director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting,28 Days Later) Shallow Grave is a sharply written and acted black comedy turned suspenseful thriller. Boyle's direction is quite stylized, the story is completely engrossing, and the performances are excellent.
A sublime journey into paranoia and dark humor - Shallow Grave is a real treat for those who like their movies thoroughly off beat. An undermentioned gem.
