Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Luis G — 01 Feb 2009
Wonderfully dark, yet absurdly comic. One of Boyle's best films. Like a good sausage, it's got a little bit of everything thrown in. The humour is as black and twisted as a treacle Curly-Wurly and the plot that plays out is totally insane.
McGregor and Eccleston are both truly terrific, delivering career-best performances and the film's soundtrack fits like a glove. Make time to watch this, it won't disappoint!
