Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Joe L — 14 Apr 2009
Another great film by Boyle, it really showed his early styles that really come out in trainspotting. The film is a rather simple story that focuses most of it's time in the actual apartment and around the lives of the three friends.
It's not a highly original concept, but the film presents a surprise ending and a very interesting take on the whole concept of how large amounts of money can change people and who you can trust. Overall very entertaining part thriller, part comedy and good character development shallow grave is a must see for any fan of Danny Boyle.
