Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Liam U — 11 Jun 2009
It's not bad, entertaining enough. The cast are all pretty good in portraying obnoxious wholly unlikeable people, which does detract from the film a bit. Christopher Eccleston however gives an especially good performance as he descends into madness, and Ken Stott also gives quite an enjoyable performance.
Some flashes of style can be glimpsed throughout while the story itself isn't bad, with a nice reveal at the end.
