Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Anna L — 08 Jul 2012
A half decent film with a good solid story and it's even comical in places. In my opinion it's a good solid debut, which showcases Boyle's flair for uncharacteristic camera angles and the casting of what later becomes Boyle's Boys.
Strange as it may seem, Trainspotting is a massive upgrade from this, and although you'd expect his films to get better, the truth is this film has all the makings of a potential classic.
