Review of Shallow Grave (1994) by Adam K — 22 Jul 2012
Darkly humorous, this comedic thriller establishes the characters and their personalities with the audience, and soon develops into a rather terrifying situation for the everyone. Danny Boyle's directorial debut is a UK classic whose title heavily reflects the nature of its characters and teaches a lesson in ethics, morality and the resistance of greed.
Accompanied by phenomenal character arcs, this is a winner from beginning to end.
