Okay, I PERSONALLY do not know why the Flixster ratings are so low... maybe it's an issue with it being a remake of a Japanese original... I don't know. But I prefer to look at remakes as completely separate from the originals because they will NEVER match up and everyone who has seen the first and then watches its remake knows it! So, on the whole, as its own movie, I loved Shall We Dance!
