Review of Shakespeare in Love (1998) by Lemuel M — 23 Jun 2009

Great acting by the lead guy but not with Gwyneth Paltrow. I didn't like her much in this film. There was an unjust feeling in her side. I do think the didn't blend with each other much. There was an enormous amount of sensuality between the two of them but it seems that they don't get it right.

About the other member of the cast, Judi Dench is the greatest. She is the best. She deserves her Oscar very much. The rest of them is great. They really pulled everything together well. I also appreciate the other elements of the film, the costume, story, cinematography etc.

I hope to see more of Gwyneth Paltrow. I think she is the next Meryl Streep.
