How in the hell did this beat Saving Private Ryan??? It's decent enough, even for one who strongly dislikes Shakespeare such as I, and the cast made the eye-rolling plot watchable. However, the love story is just one big make-out session set to bits of poetry, and plus he's already married, so it's not like they could have been together anyway.

12 years have passed and this still stands as the biggest Oscar sin in history, a dubious honor it will undoubtedly always hold.
