Probably my least favorite of the Richard Roundtree Shaft flix but it's still worlds better than the Samuel L Jackson remake and most blaxploitation from the era. Shaft's still a cool assed private dick who's a sex machine to all the ladies; the Big Score isn't nearly as gritty as its predecessor but ups the action (especially in its climax).
Even w/ its lengthy chase sequence in the finale the whole doesn't have a satisfying pace and lags from time to time..still a must for fans of the genre though.
