This latest version of Shaft is better than the critic views would suggest. The banter and chemistry between Shaft (Sam Jackson) and his son is fantastic. Jackson, as usual, has some of the greatest lines ever. His delivery is flawless.
The plot, however, is lacking. The underlying crime scheme and the villains involved could have used a lot more attention. Treat this movie as a fun, witty, wild action ride and you’ll be happy. The Departed, it is not...
