Review of Shadows and Fog (1991) by Sean C — 19 Jul 2009
Shadows and Fog was a somewhat uneven film for me. While I enjoyed the film noir/ German Expressionism style and setting the circus was less interesting, altough the final confrontation with the killer was entertaining.
For the most part the humor was classic Woody Allen and the bantering with Farrow worked but there were a couple patches were the jokes fell flat. Not one of Allen's best but also not one of his worst.
