Review of Shadows and Fog (1991) by Philippe D — 26 Jul 2009
Intermittent comedy, some nice camera direction and 'spot the actor' fun make this worth a look. Glad it was under an hour and a half because that was just about the right length for a film like this - I was beginning to realise that I was being led up a blind alley and although that was exactly Allen's intention, it still left me thinking - 'Whatever', as the credits rolled.
