Review of Shadowlands (1993) by Elliot R — 04 Jul 2008
Anthony Hopkins perfectly holds my attention in this slow burning period love story. Watching his transformation as a woman enters and captivates his life is very well done I thought. Good storytelling and very good performances really make all the difference here.
It's quite a challenge these days for me to sit still and be transfixed the way this film did it. Thoroughly entertaining love story with no glaring issues for me to pick at.
