A beautifully mannered and emotional film that really moves due to its quiet and honest sentiment. Anthony Hopkins has never been softer or more vulnerable and is rewarding with one of his finest performances and Debra Winger shows true charm and understanding for a complex character, it truely is a wonder how show didn't have a stronger career.
