Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Matthew F — 30 Mar 2014

One of my favorite vampire films. The acting is the highlight here and its an interesting take on one of the oldest monster tales. I also think this portrayal of an older vampire is intriguing to me as it seems more vivid and "lifelike" than most.

Dafoe also plays a great role as a determined and consumed director who feels this film is his destiny even if there are casualties along the way.
