Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Blackity B — 01 Nov 2008
A well crafted historical fiction about the filming of Nosferatu, one of the great horror films of all time. In it excentric director (malkovich) highers real life vampire Max Shreck(dafoe) to play count Olaf in his masterpiece.
The film circles around the conflict between director and insatiable star. Great performances by the two leads.
