Review of Shadow of the Thin Man (1941) by Jim T — 22 Jun 2008
The plot is flimsy, and the film as a whole is only of interest for the continued repartee between Powell and Loy, and even that feels watered down compared to the previous installments. Not a "bad" movie in the traditional sense (it is well-made), but when stacked up against the first THIN MAN, this just doesn't cut it.
