Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by Harpreet S — 24 Mar 2012
One of Hitchcocks best early American films. Thornton Wilder's screenplay focuses on 1940s era smalltown life and how it reacts to evil in the form of Joseph Cottons Uncle Charlie. Deliberately paced with plenty of humor.
