The indisputable masterpiece maker Alfred Hitchcock made his first indisputable masterpiece in 1943 with the incredibly suspenseful Shadow of a Doubt. This is a slow burner, but every single second gets better than the last. An incredible film.
Oh by the way, it was Hitchcock's personal favorite of his...so that's saying something.
