The movie is based on novel. the movie brought us a situation of Cold War between Irish and British. The main cast is a single mother and IRA (Irish organization ) member. Idealistic, respectful and clamp movie.

expert widescreen photography which tends to view people from either very far away or very close up, making you think about them as individuals and then as specks in a social panorama. Unfortunately the film's finer qualities are eclipsed by a kind of gossamer numbness.
