Review of Sexy Beast (2001) by Deidre H — 16 Oct 2010

I cannot believe that the man who played Ghandi also played this man. He is a pure devil. He's rude, repulsive, and aggressive and overall I think Kingsley makes the movie. There is a lot of symbolism in the movie that I very much enjoy.

There's a reason movies should tell you everything that's happening through words and it's because they have symbolism. In the beginning, you really feel the main character's relaxation.

He's tanning in the summer heat, sweating like a hog, and loving it. But then, things get chaotic, and you truly feel the nervous feelings starting to build up. I discovered this movie about a year ago, and I loved it immediately.

It's very clever and an awesome heist movie!
