A real gem of a Britflick. Its all the more remarkable because both Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsley play against type. Its really a drama about relationships rather than a gangster movie. You also have to hand it to Ian McShane for stealing the few scenes where he appears.
Winstone is good as the retired crook living the good life in Spain but Kingsley's performance as the small time psychopath sent to tempt him back for one last job is amazing.
