Review of Sexy Beast (2001) by Reuben P — 24 Apr 2008
Ben Kingsley is phenomenal in this film. I mean, wow... You wouldn't think that this is the guy who played Gandhi and Izakh Stern. It's a travesty he didn't win the Oscar for this performance. He commands every scene he's in - to his very last second of screen time. Scary, intense, violent, and hilarious.
The exact same thing can be said about the film.
Good stuff.
