Review of Sexy Beast (2001) by Brandon G — 19 May 2008

This move is pretty messed up, and not in a good way. Though Kingsley did a terrific job acting, the film itself was way too centered on convincing Gal to do the job. The attempts to create a Tarantino like effect missed completely.

For an advertised Heist movie, it didn't really have much of a Heist. That was just thrown onto the end of the film to tie up the loose ends. Much of the film was very awkward and hard to watch. The main character had no balls what so ever.

Not worth your time.
