The main bulk of Sex Tape is quite boring. There's a real lack of funny moments through the second act, and it's really not until an unexpected appearance near the end that the laughs start up again.

To be fair, the film could have been saved if at the end of the film, they had shown some really funny footage from the Sex Tape. Unfortunately, they tried, and none of it was funny. The premise of this film really had the potential to be funny, but in the end it's just another throwaway, below par comedy.
