Review of Sex Tape (2014) by Ana B — 28 Oct 2014
Comedy telling us of the endeavours of sweet couple Annie and Jay; over the years their libido has cooled down dramatically and now it takes second place over kids, work, friends and everything else. In an attempt to spice things up they tape themselves having sex. A few weeks later the tape ends up in undesirable hands pushing Annie and Jay to frantically look for the remaining copies sent around in error.
An archetypical Hollywood comedy with all the tricks of the trade, it is almost completely unbelievable but entertaining. As a comedy it doesn't say anything new but it isn't boring, just predictable and that is despite a few real unusual bits you don't usually see in this type of film like quite a lot of nudity- or at least "back nudity"- and the surprising scene with the cocaine, I wouldn't rush to watch it thought.
