Review of Sex Tape (2014) by Rachel H — 18 Feb 2015
What happens when you throw a bunch of funny people together? Well, according to Sex Tape, absolutely nothing. Not a single joke that sticks the landing, not a laugh, not so much as a smile. Sex Tape isn't funny and it feels like a thirteen year old wrote it, then expanded it to a full run time and filled it with over the top situations.
The film follows a married couple who started their relationship off with a bang (no pun intended), but have since fizzled out. So, they try to create a sex tape, only to send it by accident it to people they know.
Could it have been funny? Eh, probably not, because it has been done before. There isn't much good to say about this film, except that the runtime is thankfully short. Harsh, I know, but this is dull film deserves it.
