Review of sex, lies, and videotape (1989) by Hsuan-Li Y — 16 Jun 2007
Steven Soderbergh's debut.(It's always fun to see what the birth of a genius looks like.) He used a mild way to tell a controversial story. I love this movie because I can find some connections from each of the four characters.
James Spader interprets the video freak so well and surprisingly, I just can get a sense of peace from his acting such as the last scene, which includes a very simple conversation but brings happiness.
