Review of sex, lies, and videotape (1989) by Lisa W — 18 Jan 2008
A true inspiration to independent auteurs everywhere. Thoughtful script, provocative material, minimal locations and four actors. Soderbergh dons a masterful and modest debut about characters who lie to themselves and each other, while desperately trying to comprehend the truth in their relationships.
