Review of sex, lies, and videotape (1989) by Greg K — 03 Jan 2010
An oddity, but a good one. Film moves at a steady pace perfectly fit to the underlying story, though possibly too slow for many modern tastes. San Giacomo plays a perfect Cynthia. The development and integration of her, specifically at scenes in the bar and the Mullany home are beauties in themselves.
Overall a very worthwhile watch. Weird? Undoubtedly, but the superb character development is appreciable.
