Review of Sex Ed (2014) by Hollis — 14 Nov 2014

This is a fabulously funny film with an utterly lovable cast. Haley Joel Osment’s performance as a virginal sex ed teacher is consistent, super likable, and responsible for some of the moments in the film that made me laugh the most.

The sexual subject matter of the film is well-handled and positive, and really focuses on some wise points, such as the idea of creating conversations about sex amongst youth to promote education, as well as speaking against the stigma of virginity in men.

Any comedy that can address such imperative topics while also making me laugh out loud is commendable in my book.
