Review of Sex Drive (2008) by Erik S — 30 Aug 2010

I went into this expecting a slapstick teen comedy, and came out with half a chick flick. There were some great gags like the doughnut scene in the beginning and the Amish scene (props to my boy Seth Green by the way), but the love story was very predictable and the whole flow of the movie was off.

I had the movie figured out from the beginning. Sure there were a few unexpected turns, but nothing amazingly funny or mind blowing. This movie is unintelligent and it's only savior were a few unique and extremely funny parts.

If you are looking for a movie like this, watch Road Trip or Van Wilder and if you still want a movie to kill some time or something new then throw this in the DVD player.
