Review of Sex Drive (2003) by Noname — 02 Dec 2014
After being impressed with Sean Anders's Horrible Bosses 2, I re-watched a movie I had watched when I was younger called "Sex Drive" and boy was it worse than I remember. It's incredibly predictable, tasteless, and really not funny.
The only thing it has going for it is the supporting cast is really strong. James Marsden is the single best thing about this as the homophobic brothers, Clark Duke is funny as always, and the two idiots whose names escape me are pretty funny.
Other than that, the rest of the people in it are pretty flat. The lead is boring, the girls are underused, and even Seth Green isn't given much to do. It pains me to say a movie where Fall Out Boy shows up is bad, but Sex Drive is a missed opportunity.
