Review of Sex and the City (2008) by Alisa R — 01 Jun 2010
I watched it last night so I could go see the second one and it was OK. I never had the urge to go watch the tales of rich women because the majority of the people in the United States are not rich especially me.
I felt like I couldn't relate well, after all the talk about Sex in the City 2 I gave up and watched it. I feel it was just what I was expecting. EXCEPT when Big decided not to go in to the wedding and when the sweet black haired girl,I dont know any character's names, said "NO!" when she was consoling her friend in that beautiful gown in the middle of the street.
I really enjoyed her character. How realistic. The sweet one who has everything work out for her except opening her mouth and getting sick. Jennifer Hudson was horrible in the film. She should really just stick to singing or take a lot of acting classes.
That is why I am still so confused how she won best actress for Dream Girls! CRAZY. Overall, the movie was OK. It was about forgiveness and love and the writer did a pretty awesome job connecting this idea of forgiving others with each character.
It was just predictable that's all but their are few movies that give me a good twist.
