Review of Sex and the City (2008) by Jess L — 06 Feb 2013

Not so much a movie as it is a long episode. This is a fun flick, definitely one for the girls and even though it felt less witty and snappy than the series I still thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It's certainly a roller coaster ride of emotions, and surprised me how it didn't just aim for the romantic comedy angle.

There are some truly dramatic scenes that will take you by surprise. Good twists and turns but ultimately we are given a happy ending which is what we are all after. It's the only time I've been in the cinema and witnessed a communal gasp after one character's confession, hilarious!
