Review of Sex and the City 2 (2010) by Bob S — 13 Jan 2011
The fashionable four are back for their second full-length feature film. Each member of the quartet is wrestling with their own issues including Carrie's difficulties with the direction her marriage is heading.
I thought that Carrieâ(TM)s storyline was interesting because the perspective of a couple without plans to have kids is rarely seen on film. The other storylines (menopause, maintaining sanity as a Mom of toddlers, and work/life balance) all had their moments, but quickly faded with interest.
The ladies eventually head to Abu Dhabi and the clash of the old and new worlds bring a needed boost to a story that began to languish in the middle.
