Okay, I was a fan of the series. I even liked the first movie. This sequel, however, crosses the line between wistful fantasy and total disconnect from reality. Not to mention there are some massive culturally insensitive moments.
Underneath their burqa women all across the world want to be fashionistas, really? What a terribly solipsistic, Westnocentric idea. Ugh. This gets one star for a redeeming moment when Charlotte and Miranda discuss motherhood.
