Review of Sex and the City 2 (2010) by Ian G — 09 May 2014
Outside of being familiar with the very basics of the show, I am a neophyte going into this entry of the series so a lot of the peripheal characters and indiosynchrocies might escape me a tad, so things like Kristen Davis naivete and Kim Cattralls forever cougar on overdrive I was not a big fan of, along with not all elements but aspects of the forever catwalk of fashion that keeps on popping up in ridiculous obvious studio shot locals rather than on location.
That being said there is something present in the Mr Big and Carrie relationship that does make you want to route for them despite their pursuit between normalcy and living the New York fast track coupled life.
Not a wash but defintely not a converted fan either. Takes a lot to top Devil Wears Prada I guess. And what the heck was with that opening wedding which seemed to suck out a lot of the films budget man talk about excessive.
