It was.... yeah, not very good. The first movie was nice. A nice end to the series, it answered all our question on wether or not carrie and big would end up together. Another movie? No, sorry it just wasn't needed or good.
They were desperately trying way too hard to capture the essence of the show and movie and it came out awkward and forced. That being said it had some nice moments but definitely not enough to redeem the film.
