Review of Sex and the City 2 (2010) by Hannah H — 13 Jul 2012
I literally could not watch this entire film. It was agonizing. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of the 'Sex and the City' TV series. The character of Carrie Bradshaw is insufferable to me unlike any other character before her.
That being said, I was somewhat pleasantly entertained by the first Sex and the City movie. Don't get me wrong, the characters, the issues and all the glaring social injustices in the plot still bothered me, but the movie was entertaining.
But this piece of crap, wow. What an absolute train wreck. I was cringing so much through the first hour that I just couldn't watch anymore. Whether you're a fan of the TV series or not, this movie is not something I would recommend.
How anyone can make it through the entire bloated 2 1/2 hr. running time, I really don't know.
