A beautiful, fragmented story of love, lust and intrigue, writer-director Julio Medem's erotic Spanish tale is a sumptuous mix of playful sex and stunning Mediterranean scenery. Spanish actress Paz Vega is gorgeous and mesmerising, delivering a daring and unself-conscious performance which gives Medem's piece its essential raw honestly.
