Review of Sex and Lucía (2001) by Gregory T — 29 Nov 2007

One of my favourite all time movies, really different, very inspired and one of a kind. Really makes you think and has a very subjective and interesting ending. Some people think it's depressing, but really that's a very ill-considered stance to take on it, it's easy to call it this because some of the events in it are tragic, but by the end the feeling is far from melancholy and that's whats great about it, it gives you more to chew on than just throwing you a happy or sad bone.

It doesn't patronise the viewer and you are meant to keep up and not be offended by it's explicit and sexual nature.
