A journey into the deep and imperfect chaos of love and life. To the American-eye, it's "foreign film" at its best: character-driven, full of broken relationships, despair and wonderfully tragic coincidence.
It drove me to find and visit this mysterious barren island... an experience as rewarding as the film.
