At first the plot doesn't seem to go anywhere, and it is just sex and more sex.I got a bit bored actually (as far as movies go...). Then, I realized the movie isn't about sex, as much as lust. Sex is fun between the lovers.
Lust is not so fun, for the rest of the characters. Lust is escapism. Lucia is the only sane person in the movie. In the beginning you question her emotional stability. However, in the end it is her willingness to not escape into lust, and look for love instead that teaches others how to be real.
