An interesting take on a bio-pic, and it was a good portrait of Ian Dury the performer/entertainer. I was just left with the feeling that there should have been more to the story. There are thanks to the Dury family in the credits. Was it them holding back information about the person behind the performer or did the director want to stick to the myth, the kliché, the performer???
The stars are for Andy Serkis. Once again he delivers an amazing performance.
