Review of Sex and Death 101 (2007) by Ami — 14 Jul 2008
Well, it was NO Heathers- but it had some of the same fingerprints on it. I had trouble with this from the get-go because I do not, NOT find Simon Baker attractive. You might say, I find him rather repellent.
So- it was hard for me to buy him as the "suave seducing charmer" he was supposed to be. This was a weird role for Winona Ryder too. It had some truly funny moments and it's clever satire at points that you would expect, but the rest almost seemed.
..eh. There was a bit too much sex and maybe too little death and dark satire.
