This movie is pretty fun, though it was slightly disappointed. Personally I liked the comedy half more than the horror half. But if you just watch the first half of the movie by itself, it'd be pretty disappointing (and somewhat unfunny) .
Ditto if you just watched the horror half of the movie. So, together, they just barely make a good horror/comedy. Part of it is that when the shit goes down and bitches start dying, the comedy just didn't gel well enough with the horror.
It's definitely not like Shaun of the Dead, which is sort of unfair, since not every horror/comedy can be Shaun, but I don't know there's just not that glue that pieces the entire movie together.
It feels like it's written by two different people who couldn't really see eye to eye in which creative direction to take the movie . But the movie started out quite good (2 hot half naked women.
..BUYS!) and it ended pretty good as well with a strong last line. And everything in between is just sort of hit or miss. There's some cool stuff in there (like the silent movie scene) and the violence is decent.
So all in all, this movie is BARELY a good horror/comedy. I'm sure some people will love this flick, and that's fine, but I was left wanting a lot more from this movie. I'm completely fine with this movie, but it's nothing I ever need to see again.
