Well, let me just say this, and as indicated by the star rating I gave this movie, this is not a negative review. Its just that the first part of this movie is as fucking boring as the first half of The Descent. That movie sucked ass, but this movie improves drastically.

Some of the dry British humor in this movie is lost on me, which is funny because I usually find it hilarious. But that could be because this is supposed to be The Office meets High Tension. The opening intro is cool, as we are shown a snippet of a different perspective from another part of the film.

As the film actually opens, the story is set up through a group of people who work for a weapons company, and this plays an important part of some things in the latter half of the film, and also explains things realistically, and as a result this movie is almost entirely realistically plausible.

But once the horror/action part of the film starts, it gets really good and the humor really flies. And by the end, it sort of becomes a different film, ala The Descent, but not as predictable or as shitty as that film. Its sort of a twist 75% of the way through, but it is a good twist and doesn't insult your intelligence or make what has happened worthless, in fact, it strengthens it.

I tried to do this review spoiler free, but this is another fine film, much like the recently viewed Jack Brooks: Monster Hunter, that doesn't rely on CGI to achieve brilliance.
